9 Best Agentforce Alternatives in 2026, Sorted by the Job You Need Done

Coworker AI compares 9 Agentforce alternatives for 2026, including Copilot Studio, ServiceNow, Gemini, Sierra and Decagon, sorted by the job you need done.

Dhruv Kapadia14 min read

The best Agentforce alternatives in 2026 are Coworker, Microsoft Copilot Studio, ServiceNow AI Agents, Google Gemini Enterprise, HubSpot's Breeze agents, Glean, Sierra, Decagon and Zendesk AI agents. Which one fits depends on the job you bought Agentforce for: answering customers, running agents inside another software suite, or helping employees get work done across many tools.

Agentforce is not one product anymore. It is a consumption platform, a set of per-user add-ons, a family of bundled Salesforce editions, and as of September 2026 the owner of Fin, formerly Intercom. So "alternative" means something different depending on which of those you are looking at.

A disclosure before the list: I work at Coworker AI, which is on it. I have tried to be as direct about where we fall short as about where the others do. And a naming note, because it confuses search results: Salesforce sells a product called Agentforce Coworker. It is a Salesforce feature and has nothing to do with Coworker AI.

Prices come from each vendor's own page: Microsoft, Google Cloud, HubSpot and Zendesk. Where a vendor does not publish a number, the table says so instead of guessing. For what Agentforce itself costs, see my Agentforce pricing breakdown.

What does Agentforce do well?

Start here, because it decides whether you should switch at all.

Agentforce runs on your Salesforce metadata. Agents inherit your objects, sharing rules and flows, and Data 360 (the product formerly called Data Cloud) grounds them in unified customer data. Outside tools reach Salesforce through its API. Agentforce runs inside it, which matters most in orgs with years of custom objects.

Service depth is the second strength. Salesforce introduced the Agentforce Help Agent with pay-per-resolution pricing in July 2026. Per Salesforce Ben's report on the launch, "If the customer asks for a human or walks away unhappy, there is no charge." Voice agents, field service agents and now Fin sit in the same portfolio.

Third, the new editions fold Agentforce into the Salesforce license itself. On September 3, 2026, Salesforce launched Core, Advanced and Max editions at $195, $395 and $550 per user per month, each with Flex Credits included (500,000, 1 million and 2.75 million). If Salesforce is your system of record and your agents mostly touch Salesforce data, the honest answer may be to stay.

Why do teams look for an Agentforce alternative?

The pricing model keeps changing

Agentforce launched at $2 per conversation. In May 2025 Salesforce moved to Flex Credits at $0.10 per action, then added per-user add-ons, then pay-per-resolution for the Help Agent, then bundled editions. Each change was a reasonable response to customer feedback. The result is still that a budget built in 2025 may not describe what you buy in 2026.

Consumption can also surprise you. One admin on r/salesforce described burning through more than 6 million Flex Credits in days, traced to a single data-processing feature. That is one customer's account, not a pattern, but it shows why usage monitoring is part of running Agentforce.

Adoption is slower than the pitch

A TD Cowen survey of Salesforce partners, reported by The Register in August 2026, found 56% expected customer interest but said initiatives needed time to mature, and none were seeing Agentforce drive bookings yet. Partners do the implementations, so their pipeline is an early signal of how long rollouts take.

Messy orgs produce inconsistent answers

Agents are only as good as the data model underneath. A consultant on r/salesforce described weeks of setup where record queries returned inconsistent results on a poorly structured, non-English org. Any agent platform struggles with bad data. Agentforce makes it visible because it sits directly on the CRM.

What changed in 2026: Fin and Agentforce Coworker

Two pieces of 2026 news reshape the shortlist.

First, Salesforce completed its acquisition of Fin, formerly Intercom, on September 10, 2026, after signing the deal at about $3.6 billion in June. Fin still deploys on other helpdesks and still prices at $0.99 per outcome, but it is now a Salesforce product. If your goal is to reduce dependence on Salesforce, Fin no longer gets you there. If you like Agentforce and want faster frontline deployment, Fin is now a companion rather than a competitor. I cover its pricing in the Intercom Fin pricing guide.

Second, Salesforce's Agentforce Coworker is an employee assistant that, per Salesforce, "connects and indexes across 300+ enterprise sources" and runs inside Slack, Teams, ChatGPT and Claude. That weakens an old criticism. "Agentforce only sees Salesforce data" is no longer a fair claim, and I have left it out of this comparison.

The 9 best Agentforce alternatives

1. Coworker

Coworker is an enterprise AI platform for internal teams. OM2, its organizational memory, connects Slack, Google Drive, Gmail, Salesforce, HubSpot, Jira, GitHub, meeting transcripts and calendars, and keeps a synthesized picture of your accounts, projects and decisions across them. Agents read from 50+ connectors and can write back to Salesforce and HubSpot, with a person confirming each CRM update before it lands.

Strength: work that starts outside Salesforce and ends inside it. A typical example is reading a sales call transcript, checking the related Slack thread and Jira ticket, then proposing the opportunity update in Salesforce. The Salesforce connector works with Professional, Enterprise and Unlimited editions through the standard REST API, so your existing validation rules and flows still fire. There is also a no-code agent builder. A proof of concept takes about 48 hours. Coworker is SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and CASA Tier 2 compliant.

Honest limitation: Coworker is not a customer-facing service bot, so it does not replace the Help Agent on your website. It writes to Salesforce and HubSpot but not to most other CRMs, memory looks back about 90 days from when you connect a source, and there is no mobile app. Pricing is quote-based.

Best for: revenue, customer success and ops teams whose work spans Salesforce plus a dozen other tools.

2. Microsoft Copilot Studio

Copilot Studio is Microsoft's agent builder. Agents publish to Microsoft 365 Copilot, Teams, websites and apps, and connect through Power Platform connectors that include Salesforce, Dynamics 365 and Google services.

Strength: if your company runs on Microsoft 365, identity, licensing and governance are already in place. Agents published to Microsoft 365 Copilot are included for users who already hold that license.

Honest limitation: billing is in Copilot Credits, sold as 25,000-credit packs at $200 a month or pay-as-you-go through an Azure subscription, and the number of credits an agent burns depends on how it is designed. See the Copilot Studio pricing breakdown for the math, and our Microsoft Copilot alternative page for how the two compare.

Best for: Microsoft-standardized organizations that want agents in Teams.

3. ServiceNow AI Agents (ServiceNow Otto)

ServiceNow closed its acquisition of Moveworks in December 2025 and in May 2026 combined Now Assist, Moveworks and AI Experience into ServiceNow Otto. AI Agent Studio builds agents in natural language, and AI Control Tower governs what they do.

Strength: governed work. Approvals, permissions and audit trails come from the platform rather than being bolted onto the agent, which matters for IT and HR requests.

Honest limitation: per ServiceNow's own AI Agents FAQ, you need a Pro Plus or Enterprise Plus entitlement or an AI SKU, and the Prime SKU to create or significantly modify agents. Pricing is quote-based. The value assumes ServiceNow is already your system of record. Moveworks history is in our Moveworks pricing guide and Coworker vs Moveworks page.

Best for: enterprises replacing Agentforce's employee service agents with ones that live in ServiceNow.

4. Google Gemini Enterprise

Gemini Enterprise, the successor to Agentspace, bundles enterprise search, an assistant, prebuilt Google agents such as Deep Research, and a no-code Workflow Builder. Google lists connectors to Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, HubSpot and Jira.

Strength: a published price. Business edition starts at $21 per seat per month for up to 300 seats, and Standard and Plus start at $30, per Google Cloud's pricing.

Honest limitation: there are two Google products with "Gemini" and "enterprise" in the name, and the agent platform adds consumption charges on top of seats. The Gemini Enterprise pricing guide untangles both, and Coworker vs Gemini covers the head-to-head.

Best for: Google Workspace companies that want one assistant for every employee.

5. HubSpot Breeze agents (Agent Hub)

HubSpot's Customer Agent and Prospecting Agent are available on Pro and Enterprise plans. Since April 14, 2026 they bill on outcomes in HubSpot Credits: 50 credits per Customer Agent resolution and 100 per recommended lead, per HubSpot's announcement. HubSpot introduced Agent Hub and Agent Builder in July 2026 to manage them in one place.

Strength: it is the closest like-for-like swap. If you are moving your CRM from Salesforce to HubSpot, its agents work on HubSpot records the way Agentforce works on Salesforce records.

Honest limitation: it solves "leave Salesforce", not "work across tools". Agents are strongest on HubSpot data.

Best for: mid-market teams consolidating CRM onto HubSpot. Coworker also connects to HubSpot if you want agents that span HubSpot and your other systems.

6. Glean

Glean started as enterprise search and now sells an assistant and agent builder on top of it, with 250+ connectors. Pricing is quote-only, on a per-user license plus pooled usage credits.

Strength: search breadth, with 250+ connectors and permission-aware results.

Honest limitation: quote-only pricing and a real implementation effort. It is an employee search and assistant layer, not a CRM agent, so it does not replace Agentforce's service agents. Compare it in our Glean alternatives list and Coworker vs Glean.

Best for: large companies whose main problem is finding information.

7. Sierra

Sierra builds branded customer-facing agents across chat, SMS, WhatsApp, email, voice and ChatGPT, and states on its homepage that it uses outcome-based pricing.

Strength: high-touch customer conversations at enterprise scale, on one agent across every channel.

Honest limitation: no public price list, and Sierra is not a helpdesk, so you keep one alongside it. Third-party estimates of what deals cost are collected in the Sierra AI pricing guide, and other options are in Sierra alternatives.

Best for: consumer brands replacing Agentforce's customer service agents.

8. Decagon

Decagon sells customer service agents across voice, chat and email, built on what it calls agent operating procedures, with simulations and live A/B testing before changes go out.

Strength: support-specific tooling. You can test an agent against simulated conversations before it reaches customers.

Honest limitation: there is no public pricing page. Deals are priced per conversation or per resolution through sales, as covered in the Decagon pricing guide.

Best for: support teams that want an AI agent vendor with no CRM attached.

9. Zendesk AI agents

Zendesk combines a helpdesk with AI agents. Suite plans run from $55 to $115 per agent per month billed annually, Copilot is a $50 per agent add-on, and automated resolutions cost $1.50 committed or $2.00 pay-as-you-go, all now listed on Zendesk's pricing page.

Strength: ticketing, routing and the AI agent in one product, with a mature ecosystem.

Honest limitation: three pricing layers stack, so the real bill is higher than the seat price. The Zendesk AI pricing guide works through an example, and Zendesk alternatives covers the rest of the field.

Best for: service teams that want to leave Service Cloud for a helpdesk-first product.

How do you choose an Agentforce alternative?

Three questions decide it faster than a feature matrix.

Who is the agent talking to? If it is customers, your shortlist is Sierra, Decagon, Zendesk, or Fin if staying close to Salesforce is fine. Our roundup of AI customer service tools for enterprise goes deeper on that half of the market.

Where does the data live? If nearly everything is in Salesforce, Agentforce has a real advantage and the case for switching is weaker. If the context for a decision sits in Slack threads, call transcripts, Jira tickets and email, an agent grounded in one system will keep missing it.

Which platform do you already own? Copilot Studio, ServiceNow, HubSpot and Gemini Enterprise are all strongest inside their own suite. Picking one usually means picking the suite. Our enterprise AI platforms guide compares them at that level.

Where Coworker fits, and where it does not

Coworker is for the work in the middle of that second question: tasks that need context from several tools and then an action in the CRM. Examples are updating opportunities after calls, flagging deals with no recent activity, or answering "what did we promise this customer, and where" without opening five apps. OM2 keeps that context synthesized rather than searching for it from scratch each time. On our own benchmarks, that cut token cost 9x against Claude with its native connectors. Note the baseline: that benchmark is not a comparison with Agentforce.

It is the wrong pick if you need a customer-facing service agent, if your agents only ever touch Salesforce data, or if you need writes into a CRM other than Salesforce or HubSpot. In those cases one of the tools above, or Agentforce itself, will serve you better.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best alternative to Salesforce Agentforce?

It depends on the job. For customer-facing service, Sierra, Decagon and Zendesk AI agents are the strongest independent options. For agents inside another suite, Microsoft Copilot Studio, ServiceNow AI Agents, HubSpot Breeze and Google Gemini Enterprise. For employee work across many tools, Glean and Coworker.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Agentforce?

Sometimes, but compare on the same unit. Gemini Enterprise publishes a seat price from $21 per month, Copilot Studio sells 25,000-credit packs at $200 a month, and Zendesk publishes $1.50 to $2.00 per automated resolution. Agentforce itself now has bundled editions with Flex Credits included, so if you already buy Salesforce, the incremental cost of Agentforce may be lower than a new vendor.

Do I need Salesforce to use an Agentforce alternative?

No. Every alternative on this list runs without Salesforce. Several, including Copilot Studio, Coworker and Fin, also connect to Salesforce if you want to keep it as your CRM while running agents elsewhere.

What is the Microsoft equivalent of Agentforce?

Microsoft Copilot Studio is the agent builder, and Dynamics 365 is the CRM it pairs with most closely. Copilot Studio also has a Salesforce connector, so it can act on Salesforce data from inside Microsoft 365.

Is Fin still an Agentforce alternative after the Salesforce acquisition?

Not in the sense of leaving Salesforce. Salesforce completed the Fin acquisition on September 10, 2026. Fin still runs on other helpdesks, but it is now part of the Salesforce portfolio, so it works better as a companion to Agentforce than as a replacement for it.

Is Agentforce Coworker the same as Coworker AI?

No. Agentforce Coworker is a Salesforce product, an employee assistant built on Data 360. Coworker AI is an independent company at coworker.ai whose platform connects to Salesforce as one of 50+ tools.
